Act as the management representative for the QMS. Lead external and internal audits, including AS9100D surveillance, recertification, and customer audits. Ensure compliance with ITAR, customer requirements, and relevant industry standards. Track, analyse, and report on quality metrics and KPIs. Lead root cause analysis and drive corrective actions. Manage nonconformances, customer complaints, and supplier quality concerns. Oversee inspection processes, calibration programs, and quality documentation. Partner with Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain to improve quality and overall performance. Support new product introductions and process validation. Maintain and update quality policies, procedures, and work instructions. Lead, coach, and develop the Quality team. Drive continuous improvement using Lean principles and data-led decisions. Proven experience maintaining and improving AS9100D and/or ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems. Strong track record leading certification, customer, and internal audits. Solid understanding of corrective actions, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methods. Confident reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T. Strong leadership skills with the ability to communicate clearly and keep teams aligned. Well-organised, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
