JDP is seeking a degreed Quality Assurance Manager for a food manufacturer in Atlanta, GA area!

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all quality systems and food safety programs at the plant level
  • Manage all QA/QC employees including the day to day activities
  • Ensure quality standards and food safety controls are maintained at all levels
  • Oversee the compliant labeling and nutritional data program
  • Maintain and utilize data, identifying and reporting trends
  • Communicate with members of management across different divisions
  • Ensure all regulations are met across the plant
  • Lead and participate in all BRC safety initiatives
  • Enforce all food safety controls
Requirements:
  • Must have a Bachelor's degree
  • 5-7 years experience in Quality Assurance
  • Knowledge of USDA/FSIS regulations, HACCP, SSOP and GMP requirements
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with BRC Global Food Safety and Quality programs
