Your experience

  • Perform in-process visual and dimensional inspections on molded parts at first piece and defined production checkpoints
  •  Inspect painted and coated parts for surface defects, adhesion, thickness, and process parameter compliance
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings to verify dimensional attributes compliance
  • Use measurement instruments (caliper, gauges, durometers) to verify part dimensions and quality characteristics
  • Communicate inspection findings, trends, and concerns in real time directly to operators, team leaders, and supervisors on the floor
  • Communicate with operators on visual inspection standards and quality acceptance criteria during normal production
  • Identify, segregate, tag, and document non-conforming products; recommend and communicate disposition decisions
  • Participate in pre-shift huddles and shift handoffs to align team on quality priorities and current issues
  • Record inspection results, non-conformance reports, and quality documentation accurately in quality and production systems
  • Identify recurring defects and contribute ideas for process improvements.

Your background

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; associate degree or vocational/technical training in quality or manufacturing preferred.
  • At least 2 years of quality inspection in manufacturing or equivalent experience
  • In-process or floor inspector experience is strongly preferred.

While hourly pay rate is determined by things such as the successful applicant’s qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay starting between $26-$30/hour. 1st shift hours are 7:00 AM- 3:30 PM Monday – Friday.
