The Quality Inspector is responsible for performing detailed inspections of welded components, fabricated vessels, piping systems, and assemblies to ensure compliance with industry standards, customer specifications, and internal quality requirements. This role is fully on-site at a customer location in Boise, Idaho and requires strong technical expertise, professionalism, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal teams and customer quality personnel.

Responsibilities:
Weld & Fabrication Inspection
Conduct visual inspections of welds to verify compliance with ASME, AWS, and customer specifications.
Review Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), Procedure Qualification Records (PQR), and Welder Qualification Test Records (WQTR).
Inspect fabricated vessels, skidded systems, and internal vessel components.
Perform in-house inspections of fabricated parts and assemblies.
Piping & High-Purity Systems
Inspect PVDF/PP piping welds for high-purity semiconductor applications.
Inspect PVC piping, bonding, and internal vessel PVC assemblies.
Verify installation of internal vessel components and assemblies.
On site inspection
When equipment arrives at site after shipment and after equipment has been moved into place by Contractor
Documentation & Reporting
Prepare detailed inspection reports, including photos and supporting documentation, and submit them to the Quality Manager.
Maintain accurate records of all inspections, weld activities, and fabrication processes.
Ensure documentation meets customer, regulatory, and internal quality requirements.
