GENERAL SUMMARY:
Partners with leaders and staff to create and maintain a safe, efficient, effective, equitable, and patient-centered environment to work and provide care. Serves as a resource for evidence-based research, quality measurement and improvement, and education programs. Responsible for designing, developing, teaching, evaluating and documenting outcomes of clinical and non-clinical training programs. Works as a liaison with the Continuous Improvement division to develop quality improvement goals, plans, projects, and progress monitoring. Acts as a subject matter expert for applying systematic, scientific improvement methodologies, aligned with the Bryan Health Improvement System. Models the ideal behaviors necessary for an effective culture of safety, high reliability and continuous improvement.
PRINCIPAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Current Registered Nurse licensure from the State of Nebraska or approved compact state of residence as defined by the Nebraska Nurse Practice Act required. Advanced nursing degree with a masters or doctorate in nursing required. Minimum of three (3) years clinical nursing experience required. Specialty certification preferred. Basic Life Support (CPR) certification required. Bryan Health recognizes American Heart Association (for healthcare professionals), American Red Cross (for healthcare professionals) and the Military Training Network.
Completion of the Bryan Health Improvement System training program within 1 year of hire required.
