Summary:
Join our team as a Quality Engineer in the Manufacturing Department. You will play a crucial role in ensuring product quality meets customer expectations by providing support for quality planning, control, and improvement within operations teams.
 
Responsibilities
  • Become an integral member of a highly effective quality, manufacturing, and operations team.
  • Provide production support for containment, inspections, and quality procedures.
  • Monitor critical processes and report defined quality KPIs to operations teams and management.
  • Analyze system data and KPIs to facilitate quality-related discussions with customers and suppliers.
 
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent related work experience.
  • 1 or more years of related experience in quality or manufacturing engineering in a manufacturing environment (excluding internships).
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and organizational skills.
  • Understanding of Quality Process Controls and tools such as GD&T, FMEA, SPC, and Root Cause Analysis.
  • Ability to lead with minimal supervision and solve quality issues effectively.
 
Skills
  • Experience with gear or shaft manufacturing standards, processes, and controls.
  • Experience reading and interpreting complex part drawings, including GD&T principles.
  • Proficiency in advanced data gathering and analysis techniques, including statistical analysis.
  • Experience in project management and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with software such as Power BI, Alteryx, Tableau, or Minitab.
  • ASQ certifications like CQE, CSSGB, and/or CSSBB are a plus.
 
Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $41.89 - $44.00 /hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
