Varian Medical Systems, a Siemens Healthineers company, is hiring for a Quality Engineer, Product & Supplier Quality Excellence. In this role, you will play a critical role in improving quality performance across the product lifecycle by enabling data-driven decisions in support of both Service Quality and Supplier Quality functions.
Reporting directly to the Director of NCC, Productivity, and Service Quality, this position provides high-level analytical and quality engineering support to drive quality improvements and Non-Conformance Cost (NCC) reduction initiatives from incoming inspection through manufacturing, installation, and field service.
This role partners closely with Customer Service Operations, Supplier Quality Engineering, Supply Chain Management, and Manufacturing to support the development of dashboards and reporting tools by working with IT developers. The Quality Engineer will act as a primary user and subject matter expert for completed dashboards, ensuring they meet business needs and provide actionable insights.
The position will directly support supplier-related NCC analysis and corrective action activities, while also tracking and supporting actions to achieve key Supply Chain KPIs for Before-Delivery Quality (% nonconforming product) and Post-Delivery Quality (excess cost/system at installation).
