Our facility is environmentally controlled, engineered for manufacturing flexibility, includes dedicated assembly labs for isolated program management, and a cleanroom facility. With dedicated professionals and assemblers regularly operating two full shifts, ISC operates with the most current high-speed tooling, material handling, and test equipment.Job OverviewThe Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring product quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction across manufacturing operations for interconnect solutions. This role will support the Quality Management System (QMS), drive root cause analysis, and lead corrective actions while partnering closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Supply Chain.This position is highly customer-facing and will play a key role supporting strategic customers, ensuring responsiveness to quality issues, managing deviations, and maintaining strong relationships with customer quality teams.What You'll Do:Customer & Cross-Functional Quality SupportServe as the primary interface with customer quality teams, addressing deviations, source inspections, and quality concernsPartner with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Supply Chain to lead quality-related activities and issue resolutionDrive timely responses to customer concerns and ensure high levels of customer satisfactionQuality Systems & ComplianceSupport and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO, AS9100, FAA, FDA, or other regulated standardsParticipate in internal and external audits and ensure adherence to customer requirementsEnsure proper implementation of customer flow‑down requirementsProblem Solving & Continuous ImprovementLead root cause investigations using 8D, 5 Whys, and Fishbone methodologiesDrive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and ensure effectivenessIdentify and implement continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing processesManufacturing Quality & Operations SupportEvaluate production issues, non-conformances, and customer complaints to improve product performanceSupport MRB activities and disposition processesUse ERP and internal systems to track quality metrics and drive data‑based decisionsNew Product & Process SupportSupport APQP activities and product introductions as neededEnsure quality requirements are defined and met throughout the product lifecycleMust-Have Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or related technical field (or equivalent hands‑on experience)3+ years of experience in Quality Engineering within a manufacturing environmentExperience working in a regulated industry (e.g., aerospace, automotive, medical, food, or industrial manufacturing)Familiarity with ISO or similar quality standards (i.e. FAA, FDA, etc.)Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to apply structured methodologiesAbility to balance quality requirements with production and delivery objectives by applying sound judgment, assessing risk, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to achieve practical, compliant solutions.Ability to work cross‑functionally and communicate effectively across teamsBonus Points If You Have:Experience with AS9100 / AS9102 standardsKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement principlesExperience with ERP systems for quality trackingBackground in audits (internal or external)Experience with RCCA, 8D, 5 Why analysis in a manufacturing environmentCompensation Range:$98,000 - $105,000/year + bonusWe are committed to a high-performance culture of ownership, responsibility, and accountability, which will lead to breakthrough results in service for our customers and highly motivated employees.ISC is an equal‐opportunity employer.
