Quality Engineer III

Job SummaryPlan and direct development, application and maintenance of quality systems and procedures. Perform trend/performance analyses and initiate root cause investigations. Ensure compliance with program/project quality requirements. Develop and implement inspection and test methods, techniques, equipment and facilities. Drive supplier related quality initiatives and lead supplier development efforts. Act as primary company interface with both suppliers and customers for quality related issues.Required Skills and QualificationsExperience working in a high reliability / aerospace products environmentKnowledge of electromechanical productsAbility to multi-task and manage multiple priorities in a timely and efficient mannerExcellent communications skills with all levels of employees and managementBe able to write and review FAI reports in accordance with AS9102Demonstrated knowledge and analytical skills for most types of inspection toolsAble to read and interpret documents such as blueprints and mechanical drawings including knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)Ability to develop quality standards, procedures and train personnel in their useFamiliarity with industry quality management standards such as AS9100/ISO 9001 and technical standards such as J-STD-001/IPC-610Advanced computer skills requiredKnowledge of statistical methods and their applicationTrained in Lean/ and Six Sigma tools and processesRequired Experience and EducationBachelor of Science degree in Engineering (or equivalent)Quality engineering experience10-15 years professional experience in a manufacturing environmentLicenses, Certifications, etc.Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) preferredSix Sigma/Lean Green Belt certificationDepends on candidate's skills, qualifications and experience, they will be hired into an entry (I) level, intermediate (II) level or expert (III) level job and pay scale.Base Compensation: USD 91,000.00 - 125,000.00 Paid SalariedEqual Opportunity Employer Veterans/Disabled23301 S.
