Team members are encouraged to contribute ideas and collaborate to continuously improve processes and results.Job DescriptionLeadership & Team DevelopmentLead Engineering and Quality teams, fostering collaboration, innovation, and excellence.Mentor staff, providing guidance and growth opportunities.Define clear objectives and performance expectations, with ongoing evaluation and adjustment.Direct the design, development, and optimization of injection molding processes and products.Collaborate with Operations to ensure manufacturability, cost-effectiveness, and customer alignment.Champion continuous improvement to boost efficiency, reduce waste, and elevate quality.Ensure timely, on-budget, high-quality completion of engineering projects.Quality Assurance & ControlEstablish and enforce quality assurance strategies to meet or exceed standards.Maintain robust quality control systems, including inspections, testing, and documentation.Lead resolution of quality issues through root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.Ensure compliance with regulations, customer requirements, and internal standards.Process Optimization & InnovationIdentify and implement improvements to increase manufacturing efficiency.Coordinate with Molding and Logistics teams to streamline workflows and reduce cycle times.Stay abreast of trends, technologies, and best practices in injection molding and QA.Cross-Functional CollaborationAlign Engineering and Quality with business goals through interdepartmental collaboration.Engage with customers and suppliers to address technical and quality concerns.Support the President with technical insights during customer engagements.Resource ManagementProcure necessary equipment, tools, and materials to support initiatives.EducationBachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.Experience in Molding Operations (preferred)At least 5 to 7 years of experience in molding or injection molding operations, with progressively increasing responsibilities. This can include roles such as Molding Technician, Molding Supervisor, or Molding Process Engineer.Supervisory or Leadership ExperienceA minimum of 2 to 3 years of supervisory or managerial experience in a manufacturing or molding environment. This experience should demonstrate the ability to lead teams, manage production schedules, and ensure the quality and efficiency of molding processes.Familiarity with process optimization, troubleshooting, and problem-solving in molding production.Safety and ComplianceFamiliarity with safety standards and regulations (e.g., OSHA, ISO, and industry-specific guidelines) to ensure safe operations in the molding environment.Technical and Analytical SkillsAbility to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.Proficiency in using molding-related software and systems for process monitoring, scheduling, and reporting.#J-18808-Ljbffr
