Dymax, part of the Bachmann Chemical & Engineering family, invites you to join as Application Engineering Lab Tech in Torrington, Connecticut. You will ensure our equipment products meet quality and compliance requirements by installing and evaluating quality process sampling systems, procedures, and statistical techniques, implementing software tools, leading audits, specifying inspection criteria, and recommending revisions.ResponsibilitiesDefine and implement effective Corrective Action and Preventive Action (CAPA) plans by analyzing quality issues with customers, suppliers, and operations management to identify deviations, then guiding colleagues to perform Root Cause Analyses, 8D, and Control Plans.Establish, manage, and uphold quality standards by developing quality plans and procedures, and collaborating with customers, suppliers, engineering, and operations teams to create and deliver training on quality concepts and tools.Validate machinery and instrumentation performance standards and requirements by continuously improving inspection procedures, calibration, testing, and modifications of instrumentation, equipment, and mechanics to ensure compliance with customer requirements.Drive efficiencies in stage-gate processes by validating product manufacturing before and after commercialization, including testing equipment used for lot acceptance of raw components, first article inspections, and finished goods.Manage Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) reduction efforts by analyzing customer issues, audit findings, and quality concerns, conducting RCCA and failure-mode analysis on both internal and external escapes, and confirming the effectiveness of corrective actions.Establish quality and reliability expectations for finished products by developing and analyzing statistical data and product specifications to set standards and identify improvement opportunities; lead internal QMS audits to ensure compliance with applicable standards.Manage risks in production processes and methods by promoting risk-based thinking in line with quality management system requirements and company policies.Enhance problem‑solving responsiveness to quality issues and initiatives by regularly engaging with various company functions, especially Operations Management, Supplier Quality, Product Excellence, and Customer Experience.RequirementsBA/BS in Electrical Engineering or Quality Engineering — required; or clear equivalency.2+ years in electronic/electrical components manufacture.2+ years with ISO 9001 quality programs (IATF experience preferred).Analytical problem‑solving skills such as DIVE, 5‑Why, Fishbone, and 8D methods, Statistical Process Control (SPC) tools.BenefitsAttractive salaries.Personal growth opportunities.Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision).Retirement Plan (401K).Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D).Generous Paid Time Off and Public Holidays.Short‑Term and Long‑Term Disability.Free uniforms and footwear.Training & Development.Tuition Reimbursement.Wellness Resources.Salary Range: $73,000 - $105,000.Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.Our company provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, domestic violence status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.#J-18808-Ljbffr
