We are committed to innovation, service, and solutions to meet evolving market demands for sustainable, regulatory‑compliant, efficient packaging production – now and into the future.Reports To: Operators ManageTravel: 1Role SummaryThis role is responsible for implementing and sustaining a standardized Quality Management System in the Beaufort facility, with a primary focus on driving the facility to ISO 9001 certification and performance improvement. The position works directly with site leadership teams and cross‑functional teams to drive consistent quality execution, strengthen problem‑solving capability, reduce customer complaints and cost of poor quality. This is an execution role; success depends on building capability at the site level, holding teams accountable, and delivering measurable improvements in quality performance.Key ResponsibilitiesStandardize quality processes, documentation, and controls across facilities.Review inspection methods and sampling plans; approve inspection reports and documentation.Manage non‑conformances and CAPA, including root cause analysis through methods such as 8D, 5‑why, Fishbone, and ensuring long‑term effectiveness.Support external audits and customer interaction by hosting audits, responding to findings, and supporting customer requirements.Conduct internal audits within the facility to ensure compliance.Foster strong communication to collaborate cross‑functionally with engineering, production and supply chain, influencing improvements without enforcement.Drive cost per pound through quality‑focused initiatives.Ensure corrective actions are implemented, verified, and sustained with traceability.Key MetricsReduction in customer complaints (internal and external).Reduction in cost of poor quality.Progress toward ISO 9001 certification through improved documentation.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Manufacturing, or related fields.3‑5 years of experience in quality, manufacturing, or related fields.Hands‑on experience implementing and sustaining quality systems.Strong experience in cross‑functional collaboration with teams.Strong floor presence to work with operators.Preferred ExperienceExperience in chemical manufacturing.Strong continuous improvement background and experience driving projects.Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt) certification.Understanding of ISO 9001 certification or related experience.BenefitsPaid holidays and Paid Time Off (PTO).Medical, dental, and vision coverage starting on day one.Short‑term and long‑term disability benefits.Competitive 401(k) plan with company matching.Why Join Flint Group?Join a global organization that values safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement, where your work directly impacts customer success.Equal Employment Opportunity Statement: Flint Group is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
