Job Description Summary

Role Overview:
We are seeking a Quality Engineer with 6–8 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in the Retail domain, preferably with Walmart project experience. This role requires a proactive professional with solid hands-on testing skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies and plans for complex retail systems and applications.

  • Perform manual and automated testing to validate product functionality, integration, and performance.

  • Identify, log, and track defects using standard QA tools; drive defect triage and closure activities.

  • Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and business analysts to ensure high-quality deliverables.

  • Conduct regression testing, UAT support, and participate in release management processes.

  • Contribute to continuous process improvements and adoption of QA best practices.

  • Provide clear communication of testing progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders.


Required Skills & Experience

  • 6–8 years of proven experience as a Quality Engineer / QA Analyst.

  • Strong hands-on knowledge in manual and automation testing methodologies.

  • Proficiency in test planning, execution, and defect management.

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

  • Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • Must have experience in the Retail domain; prior Walmart project experience is highly preferred.
