Job TitleDrive quality improvements in a high-performance manufacturing environmentJob DescriptionEnsure compliance with quality standards including AS9100 and customer requirements. Maintain and improve Quality Management System documentation and procedures. Participate in internal, customer, and certification audits. Analyze manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for improvement and waste reduction. Lead root cause investigations using tools such as 5 Whys, Fishbone, Pareto, and FMEA. Implement and monitor corrective and preventive actions to ensure lasting improvements. Investigate customer complaints, returns, and non-conformances, and deliver formal responses (8D, corrective actions). Provide technical quality support to production teams, including inspection and acceptance criteria. Oversee inspection plans, control plans, and validation activities. Coordinate First Article Inspections (FAI) in line with AS9102 requirements. Collaborate cross-functionally on new product introductions and feasibility reviews. Support supplier quality initiatives, audits, and performance improvement plans. Analyze quality data (scrap, rework, FPY, supplier metrics) to identify trends and drive improvements. Contribute to risk assessments and mitigation planning for products and processes.The Successful ApplicantBachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or similar (or equivalent experience). Minimum 3 years' experience in quality engineering or manufacturing quality. Experience working in regulated industries such as aerospace or automotive. Strong knowledge of AS9100 and Quality Management Systems. Proficiency in root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T. Experience with inspection methods, measurement systems, and calibration. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
