Overview

This role supports the Quality Management System and works directly between the office and production floor.

It is a hands-on role in a manufacturing environment, not a desk-only position.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS)
• Perform internal audits and assist with external audits
• Support corrective actions and root cause analysis
• Maintain quality documentation, records, and reports
• Track and report quality data using Excel
• Work directly with production on quality issues
• Support calibration and record-keeping activities
• Assist with supplier quality and customer requirements
• Support APQP, PPAP, and IMDS requirements as needed

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing quality
• Experience working in a manufacturing plant environment
• QMS experience (ISO preferred)
• Hands-on audit involvement
• Experience with corrective actions and root cause
• Strong proficiency in Excel, Word, and email communication
• Ability to work between office and production floor

Preferred

• Experience with metals (steel, aluminum, stainless)
• Supplier quality experience
• APQP / PPAP exposure
