    About the Role

    We're hiring a Quality Control Technician to monitor and maintain quality control and assurance standards for materials produced at our facilities. This role plays a key part in ensuring products meet internal specifications, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.

    What You'll Do

    • Perform sampling, testing, and result verification following ASTM, AASHTO, State DOT, and company procedures
    • Ensure plant operations and delivery processes maintain required quality standards
    • Maintain accurate testing records, logs, and documentation
    • Notify Quality Control management and appropriate personnel when quality issues arise
    • Recommend adjustments to mix designs or material processes based on testing data and field results
    • Communicate required actions to production, dispatch, and delivery teams
    • Analyze test data and prepare reports related to quality or production issues as needed
    • Assist with evaluating and resolving customer quality concerns
    • Work closely with sales, customer service, production, and operations teams
    • Obtain required certifications as assigned
    • Attend safety meetings and training sessions
    • Maintain regular in‑person attendance
    • Perform additional duties as assigned by management

    Physical Requirements

    • Prolonged periods of walking, standing, sitting, lifting, pushing, and pulling
    • Ability to safely climb and descend ladders
    • Ability to access and navigate plant and job‑site environments
    • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, or up to 100 pounds with assistance
    • Ability to work outside of normal business hours as operational needs require

    What You Bring

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Strong mathematical abilities, including weights and measurements
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Aggregate testing experience highly desired
    • Prior quality control experience in construction or manufacturing preferred
    • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
    • Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment
    • Team‑oriented attitude with strong attention to detail
    • Willingness to work extended hours and weekends when necessary
