Job Function: To effectively perform the duties of Quality Control Technician Lead in an efficient manner according to company policies and procedures. To ensure that all relevant product testing is performed consistently and recorded accurately, and to comprehensively communicate any deviations in product quality and in implementation of company food safety GMP policies. To ensure that all work performed contributes to the best financial interests of Transpacific and the safe quality production of food products. This position provides real-time oversight, technical support, and leadership to the QC team, ensuring consistent coverage, timely corrective actions, and accurate documentation. The QC Tech Lead acts as a bridge between production and quality assurance, empowering QC technicians to uphold standards.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE At least 2 years’ college or equivalent work experience preferred. Attend suggested and required seminars and training classes. Must have basic math.
LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write effective correspondence and communicate. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, percent and interpret miscellaneous drawings and schematics.
