Job Description

The Quality Technician will work closely with the Quality Engineer, supporting gauge verifications and ensuring completion of quality checks. This role involves floor-level documentation checks and verification of operator compliance with required procedures. Responsibilities also include assisting in audits, providing data using CMM and other lab equipment, which may include hardness, tensile, and dimensional testing, as well as training others and executing corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Support gauge verifications and ensure quality checks are completed.
• Perform documentation checks on the floor and verify operator compliance.
• Assist in audits and provide data through CMM and other lab equipment.
• Conduct testing for hardness, tensile, and dimensional checks.
• Train others and execute corrective actions as necessary.

Essential Skills

• At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing quality role.
• Associates degree in a relevant field.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with CMM programming and operation.
• Bachelor"s degree in a related discipline is preferred.

Work Environment

The company specializes in bending and fabricating metal. The role requires spending approximately 75% of the time on the floor, where personal protective equipment (safety shoes, eye protection, safety helmet) is mandatory. The environment can be hot and dirty in certain areas, typical of most metal fabrication sites.

This is a Contract position based out of Eminence, KY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
