Job Details

Responsibilities:

As a Quality Control Manager, your primary duties will include:

1. Overseeing all quality control operations on construction sites to ensure compliance with local and national building codes, safety regulations, and contract specifications.
2. Developing and implementing quality control policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency and reduce risks.
3. Leading and managing a team of quality control inspectors and technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
4. Conducting regular site inspections and audits, identifying any quality issues or non-compliance, and taking corrective actions as necessary.
5. Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure that all construction activities meet the highest quality standards.
6. Managing and resolving any quality-related issues that may arise during the construction process.
7. Preparing and presenting regular quality control reports to senior management, highlighting any areas of concern and proposing solutions.
8. Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in construction quality control, including new tools, techniques, and best practices.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality control role in the construction industry.
2. At least 3 years of leadership experience, with a proven track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.
3. Strong knowledge of construction management, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and contract management.
4. Proficiency in risk management, with the ability to identify potential risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
5. In-depth understanding of local and national building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make effective decisions under pressure.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
8. A bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
