Description
The Quality Control Manager will report into senior site leadership and play a critical role in ensuring quality and compliance across federal construction projects.
- Oversee all quality control aspects on federal construction projects
- Manage submittals, RFIs, and quality documentation in line with project requirements
- Conduct preparatory meetings, initial inspections, and follow-up inspections
- Ensure full compliance with federal standards and EM 385 safety regulations
- Coordinate closely with project teams, subcontractors, and client representatives
- Maintain accurate records and reporting throughout the project lifecycle
- Support successful project delivery on a major $60M+ programme
Profile
For the Quality Control Manager role we are seeking:
- Proven experience as a Quality Control Manager on federal construction projects
- Background working with a general contractor on $30M+ projects
- Strong knowledge of EM 385 and federal quality control requirements
- QCM certification is essential
- US Citizenship (required for secure project environments)
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation and compliance experience
- Ability to work on travelling projects across the Southern US
