Summary The Quality Control Manager is responsible for the design, implementation, and continuous execution of the Contractor's Quality Control Plan (QCP) across all PWS tasks. This role ensures defect-free, timely, and compliant delivery of case processing, CV alert adjudication, telephone services, and all program management functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Contractor's Quality Control Plan (QCP) in accordance with PWS requirements.
- Identify, prevent, and correct defects in case processing, Continuous Vetting Alert Processing, telephone liaison services, and post-closing activities.
- Conduct internal audits, process reviews, and performance metrics tracking to ensure quality and timeliness standards are met.
- Provide quality oversight during the 90-day Phase-In period and TW2.0 transition.
- Report quality metrics to the Program Manager and DCSA COR on a recurring basis.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency while maintaining national-security vetting standards.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5 years of quality control / quality assurance experience on high-volume federal service contracts (case processing, data operations, or personnel vetting).
- Demonstrated success implementing and managing ISO 9001:2015 or CMMI-based quality systems.
- Strong analytical, auditing, and corrective-action skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Quality Manager (CQM) or equivalent.
- Prior experience supporting DCSA or DoD personnel-vetting programs.
