Job Title: Quality Control Laboratory Technician
Location: 36637 LA Hwy 30, Geismar, LA 70734
Night shift role : 4 days a week/ 8 PM to 6:30 AM
Total Reg Hours: 40/week
Qualifications:
- Immediate need for a QC Lab Tech
- Night Shift role: 4 days/week. Overtime eligible role
Responsibilities:
The Quality Control Technician I must be able to perform the following laboratory operation tasks:
- Active participation in EHS initiatives and compliance, including adherence to established safety, health and environmental policies and procedures.
- Establish proficiency in data management systems such as SAP and Documentum to perform tasks such as COA generation, quality release, procedure review, and analysis reporting.
- Analysis and reporting of raw materials, in-process, and finished goods samples in conjunction with monitoring plant operations through analytical results.
- Follow established SOPs & STIs.
- Ensure documentation of lab activities, including batch sheets, logbooks, databases, worksheets, etc.
- Understand method precision and testing error.
