The Vegetable Inspector (QC) is responsible for assessing the quality of vegetables received, in inventory, and shipped, ensuring products meet customer and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities include inspecting incoming loads, completing QC reports, categorizing inventory quality, managing quarantine products, and conducting outbound quality checks. They also inspect finished products and packaging when needed.
Qualifications include a high school diploma (post-secondary preferred), at least 1 year of relevant inspection experience, knowledge of food safety, GMPs, and packaging standards, strong computer skills, attention to detail, and good communication skills.
