Job Purpose:
Quality Control Inspector : Performs product inspection and/or audits of quality control programs. Performs packaging line and manufacturing inspections, and sampling and testing of incoming components and raw materials. Ensures raw materials, in-process and finished products meet company standards. May apply approval or rejection labels to bulk raw materials once analytical data is evaluated. May assess draft and final label copy, using knowledge of labeling regulations. Minimizes down time by reducing production rework and recalls.
Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:
Have experience with manufacturing environment
Familiar with IPC 610
Able to identify the Components Value
Able to read ECO
Must display the ability to read, understand and follow manufacturing process instructions (MPIs)
Must be familiar and able to operate Automatic Optical Inspection machine
Education and Experience:
Be available for overtime and weekend work as required in addition to minimum 40 hr/wk
Read and follow work instructions and safety procedures in English
Must have the ability to assemble products or sub-assemblies according to verbal or written instructions, or by following drawings or diagrams. Must be able to operate hand tools, power tools, or production equipment.
