Job Title: Aerospace Quality InspectorPosition Summary:We are a fast-paced job shop operating within the aerospace manufacturing sector. The Aerospace Quality Inspector plays a critical role in supporting production flow by ensuring all products meet stringent quality and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will be highly detail-oriented, experienced in aerospace quality systems, and capable of working efficiently in a dynamic environment.Key Responsibilities:Interpret complex engineering drawings with excellent blueprint reading skills and strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)Perform inspections using precision measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers (CMM and CAD experience is a plus)Accurately measure and document results on routers and AS9102 First Article Inspection ReportsApprove incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods to maintain quality standardsEnsure all products meet company, customer, and regulatory requirements before shipmentMaintain clear, accurate documentation and recordsFollow verbal and written instructions effectivelyCommunicate quality issues and updates to the QA Manager and other management personnelQualifications & Requirements:Minimum 5 years of verifiable experience in aerospace quality inspectionExperience working within an AS9100 quality systemStrong shop math skills and legible handwritingProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, Windows)Typing speed of at least 25 WPM with high accuracyStrong attention to detail and documentation skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced job shop environmentWork Schedule:Monday â Friday7:00 AM â 3:30 PMCompensation:Starting pay range:$22 to $35KPG123K
