Pro Resources has partnered with a US-owned zipper manufacturer producing high-quality zippers and components, made to specifications. Together, we’re looking for a detail-oriented Quality Control Associate to join our team!
Hours:
6:30am - 4pm Monday - Thursday
6:30am - 10:30am Friday
OT will be worked on Friday afternoons, if needed
Pay:
$18 per hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Quality Control Associate to join our production team. This is an entry-level position with onsite training provided. While prior manufacturing experience is a plus, it's not required — we’re looking for individuals who are reliable, take pride in their work, and pay close attention to detail.
What You’ll Do:
- Perform visual and functional inspections of zippers, sliders, tapes, and related components during production and final packaging stages.
- Accurately manually count and package finished product
- Verify proper quantity of items per order.
- Verify product specifications including size, color, alignment, strength, finish, and functionality.
- Conduct routine quality checks using measuring instruments, gauges, and testing equipment.
- Identify, document, and report defects, inconsistencies, or non-conforming materials.
- Maintain accurate inspection records, quality logs, and production documentation.
- Assist in root cause analysis and corrective action processes for quality issues.
- Work closely with production, maintenance, and warehouse teams to resolve quality concerns promptly.
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards, safety procedures, and customer requirements.
- Monitor adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and manufacturing guidelines.
- Support continuous improvement efforts to reduce defects and improve production efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in quality control, manufacturing, textile production, or industrial inspection preferred.
- Experience in zipper, garment trim, textile, or apparel manufacturing is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify minor defects and inconsistencies.
- Basic understanding of quality assurance processes and inspection methods.
- Ability to read production specifications, work orders, and quality standards.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive inspection tasks.
