Shift

Monday - Friday - 2nd Shift (Afternoon/Evening)

Pay: $21.00/hour plus $1.50/hour Shift Differential                                       

Shift: 2nd Shift Monday-Friday, 3pm-11:30pm                                               

Location: Westpoint Blvd

Position Summary

The Quality Assurance with Forklift role is responsible for utilizing SAP or the designated Warehouse Management System (WMS), along with all available systems and databases, to research and reconcile discrepancies within a specific department. Discrepancies must be resolved accurately and in a timely manner to meet SLA requirements for time in facility. This position supports quality, compliance, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining safe forklift operation and adherence to warehouse standards.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Researches and resolves discrepancies accurately using all available resources and systems.
  • Maintains the flow of discrepant product by resolving issues in FIFO or prioritization order.
  • Communicates repetitive errors, trends, and concerns to the Quality Supervisor or Manager.
  • Ensures quality metrics are captured, analyzed, and communicated to management for improvement.
  • Supports data collection for regulatory reporting and assists in developing reports and assessment tools to verify compliance.
  • Maintains positive customer relationships by responding to inquiries courteously and efficiently.
  • Follows all company safety rules and regulations.
  • Maintains Quality 5S standards throughout the work area.
  • Provides feedback to management, including signs of dissatisfaction or recurring issues.
  • Implements and promotes continuous improvement in warehouse and inventory functions using established quality processes (ISO, QMS, GMP, etc.).
  • Understands and meets all customer quality goals.
  • Participates in quality programs and project teams.
  • Makes recommendations for continuous improvement of departmental processes and operating procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to operate powered material handling equipment, including electric pallet jacks and forklifts.
  • 2--4 years of warehouse experience preferred, including computer and WMS skills.
  • Effective communication skills and strong PC proficiency.
  • Customer service--driven mindset.
  • Strong team player with the ability to collaborate across departments.
