Hours:
1st Shift Monday to Friday
07:00 AM 4:00 PM (start time may vary after interview)
Pay:
$18.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and execute internal audits across departments to ensure compliance and process accuracy
- Facilitate Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA), guiding root cause analysis and implementing effective solutions
- Manage the lifecycle of quality documents, including instructions, procedures, and manuals
- Assist in Material Review Boards (MRB) for nonconforming materials and coordinate with suppliers on quality improvements
- Compile and analyze key quality metrics like DPPM, COPQ, and FPY for management review
- Perform incoming inspections and report nonconformances
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize QMS processes and reduce waste
- Serve as primary contact during third-party and customer quality audits
Minimum Requirements:- Proven auditing experience within a regulated environment, preferably ISO 9001
- Strong problem-solving skills using structured methods (8D, DMAIC)
- Ability to interpret quality data and prepare formal reports
- Deep understanding of document control and international quality standards
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical specs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); ERP/QMS experience is a plus
- Experience in electronics manufacturing preferred but not mandatory
- Familiarity with material compliance certifications (REACH, RoHS, Prop65, TSCA, PFAS) is a plus but not required
Nice to Have Skills:- Experience with electronic components and products
- Knowledge of international compliance standards
- Familiarity with ERP systems and quality management software
Preferred Education and Experience:- Bachelors degree in a technical or business field preferred, or equivalent professional experience
- 3+ years of experience in a QA role demonstrating the above skills
