Your Role as a Quality Assurance Technician

As a Quality Assurance Technician, your mission is to be responsible for managing the gage calibration system. You will report to the Quality Assurance Supervisor. You will manage all aspects of the gage calibration system, lead gage R&R activity for new and existing gages, enter requisitions in Syspro for required services and other QA supplies, track inventory of lab supplies needed for the equipment lab and rivet ops met labs. Access customer websites to retrieve customer scorecards when they are available and summarize the data. Perform inventory movement transactions in Syspro. Assist the Quality Engineers and Supervisor when required. Create work instructions when required. Support the Quality department with record scanning. Support compliance with ISO9001IATF16949 and customer-specific requirements. Other related duties as required by the Quality Engineers or Quality Assurance Manager.

Reports to the Quality Assurance Supervisor or Specialist/Engineer

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• 1-year experience performing gage calibrations and using gage calibration software (desired) • Working knowledge of quality systems • Skills with Windows and MS Office applications • Experience with QDA and Syspro (a plus) • Team-oriented with a positive attitude • Must maintain professional behavior in all situations • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels • Good interpersonal skills • Organized with excellent attention to detail • Self-motivated with ability to prioritize assignments • Ability to work independently and in a team environment • High school diploma or equivalent experience required

Some periodic lifting under 20 pounds will be necessary.
