Salary Range: $22.50/hr

 

Introduction

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Quality Assurance Technician Level I. This role is critical to maintaining the high standards of quality and safety that our company is known for.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with routine laboratory operations in a quality assurance setting.
• Proficiency in performing quantitative and qualitative biological or chemical analytical tests.
• Ability to monitor production processes and product consistency using sensory, weight control, and analytical methods.
• Strong documentation skills for accurately performing and recording all testing results.
• Prior work experience at the client or in the client's industry.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with the Food Safety Plan and Food Quality Plan included in the SQF Program.
• Experience in monitoring raw materials storage and conducting pre-op inspections.
• Knowledge of allergen maintenance and plant sanitation verification processes.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Perform routine laboratory operations and tests to ensure product quality.
• Evaluate finished products for compliance with established specifications.
• Utilize testing equipment for validation and calibration, and communicate any out-of-compliance situations.
• Strictly adhere to safety and hygiene guidelines, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Execute and monitor the Food Safety and Quality Plans, and coordinate product disposition and rework as needed.
