SUMMARY:
Supports QA and physics operations under supervision, performing clinical patient dosimetry to ensure accurate radiation delivery.
Measures radiation doses using detectors, assists with IMRT QA, and operates linear accelerators during supervised sessions.
Contributes to machine QA, participates in research activities, and stays current through meetings and literature review.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's or ongoing physics education, strong analytical skills, and interpersonal abilities for team collaboration.
Work involves exposure to low-level ionizing radiation with monitoring; no supervisory duties.
Work hours are variable, as needed, at an hourly range of $19.03-$31.39.
