Quality Assurance Tech

We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Tech with QA experience for a client in Canton, Ohio! We’re looking for someone who is detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working in a manufacturing environment. If you have experience inspecting parts and working with inspection tools, this could be a great fit for you.

Hours:
1st Shift, Monday - Friday, 7:00AM - 3:30PM

Pay:
$24.00/hr (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct daily inspections and testing procedures using a variety of tools and techniques
  • Inspect materials received, finished products, and work-in-process of fabricated metal products to ensure conformance
  • Perform First Article Inspections and prepare First Article Reports
  • Calibrate inspection equipment and maintain records in Gagepack database
  • Use inspection tools including calipers, height gauges, CMM, and surface plates

Minimum Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 2 years’ experience as a Quality Tech
  • Comfortable reading blueprints
  • Familiar with CAD to enter parameters in inspection software
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with calibration procedures
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Prior QA experience in manufacturing
