Quality Assurance Specialist
Position Location: Pittsburgh, PA, 15222 / Cleveland, OH, 44136 / Dallas, TX, 75234 / Birmingham, AL, 35233 / Phoenix, AZ, 85016
Length of Assignment: 6 Months Contract to Hire
Pay Rate: $55 to 60/hr. on W2 ONLY
Function of the Group: Revenue and cost savings.
Industry background: Finance or Banking is a plus.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Create and conduct API requests, collections, and environments in Postman for validation and assertions.
2. Collaborate with developers, QEs, and POs to understand requirements and define test scenarios.
3. Create and maintain test strategies, test cases, and test result documentation.
Must Have Technical Skills (5 - 7 years of experience):
1. API Testing,
2. Automation,
3. Proficiency in Java, or JavaScript for automation scripting,
4. Experience with Selenium, Cucumber, and TestNG.
5. Hands-on experience with IntelliJ IDE.
6. Proficiency using version control systems like GIT, Bitbucket.
7. Strong understanding of test data validation.
8. Familiarity with JIRA for bug tracking and reporting.
9. Basic debugging and troubleshooting skills.
10. Experience in both manual and automated testing environments.
11. Understanding of SDLC methodologies.
Flex Skills/Nice to Have:
1. Experience with Junit or Karate,
2. MongoDB, SQL, and MySQL for test data validation
Education/Certifications: Bachelors Degree Required.
