PRIMARY FUNCTIONApplies comprehensive technical knowledge to ensure quality assurance protocols and procedures are fully implemented and executed.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSCreate quality measurements to track improvement in productExecute quality improvement testing and activitiesDevelop quality assurance standards and company processesAdhere to industry quality and safety standardsEnsure products meet customer expectations and demandCreate reports documenting errors and issues for fixingWork closely with the development team to improve existing productsMaintain standards for reliability and performance of productionSupport customer required auditsEvaluate root cause and corrective action responsesSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThis position will not have any direct reportsKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:Skill using Microsoft Office Suite; intermediate level skills with MS Project or other project scheduling related software required.Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Ability to write detailed reports and correspondenceAbility to brief multi-functional audiencesExcellent interpersonal skills to work effectively and cooperatively with all levels of management and staff.Will also routinely interact with external contacts such as customers, vendors, suppliers, shipping companies, etc.Must be trustworthy - will handle confidential information routinelyAbility to use general office equipment such as fax, phone, copier, etc.Strong professional customer service skills, including active listening, prompt service and follow-up.Excellent analytical skills with the ability to evaluate data and consider decision impact across multiple areas.Strong decision analysis and problem-solving skills; ability to draw conclusions and justify decisions.
