Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.



  • Administer and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with AS9100, ISO 9001, FAA regulations, and customer-specific requirements.

  • Develop, review, approve, and maintain quality policies, procedures, work instructions, forms, and process documentation.

  • Ensure controlled documentation is current, accurate, and distributed in accordance with document control procedures.

  • Lead periodic reviews of quality procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory, customer, and organizational requirements.

  • Ensure quality objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) are established, monitored, and communicated.

  • Develop standardized quality procedures that support consistent manufacturing and inspection practices.

  • Review and update quality policies based on regulatory changes, audit findings, customer requirements, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Interpret quality standards and translate them into practical procedures for production and support departments.

  • Ensure employees are trained and competent on quality policies and procedural changes.

  • Monitor procedural compliance through audits, observations, and performance metrics.



Knowledge, Experience or Skills



  • Passion for Process Improvement, relentless.

  • Self-driven with an ability to manage many internal and external project schedules

  • Knowledge of FAA regulations, orders, policies and procedures

  • Knowledge of Quality Standards, including but not limited to ISO, AS and aerospace industry specifications 

  • Ability and desire to develop beyond this role as business requirements dictate

  • Excellent Excel skills preferred 

  • Minimum 5 years in related field.

  • Must have excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills both written and verbal

  • Some travel may be required to visit and audit suppliers
