This role is designed for individuals who can operate independently, contribute to test strategy, and take ownership of execution within defined scopes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
2-4 years of experience in software quality assurance or a related field
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
Experience writing and executing test cases and test plans
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment
Prior work experience at client or in client's industry
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Experience with dashboarding tools and quality metrics
Familiarity with Python, JavaScript, SQL
Comfortable working onsite and engaging directly with cross-functional teams
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Execute manual and automated test cases for new and existing features
Reproduce, document, and triage bugs; work closely with engineering to drive resolution
Write and maintain clear, comprehensive test cases and test plans
Support QA leads in driving test strategy and test plan creation
Create and maintain dashboards to track quality metrics and test progress
Conduct product and bug audits with QA leads’ guidance
Provide release readiness support for medium/small size features
Lead test execution for small to medium-sized projects or features
Attend status meetings and represent QA in the absence of QA leads
Support stealth projects requiring a higher level of diligence in execution
