Description:
Develop, maintain, and audit quality standards, work instructions, and inspection procedures for coated parts (chem-film, anodize, passivation, organic coatings, etc.) both manufactured and procured.
Perform technical evaluations of product requirements, specifications, drawings, and process documentation. Partner with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and customers to resolve quality issues and ensure compliance with applicable standards. Lead failure investigations, material review board (MRB) actions, and corrective preventive action (CAPA) implementation, guaranteeing reliability and regulatory compliance. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to boost internal and supplier performance and productivity.

MANDATORY:
  • Candidate must have at least 3 years of experience working with Mil-Spec special processes (heat treatment, stress relief, chem-film, anodize, passivation, organic coatings, etc.).
  • Candidate must have at least 3 years of quality engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Candidate must have at least 3 years of experience with paint processing - part preparation, spray‑painting, and thickness testing.
  • Candidate must have experience writing instructions and FAI's.
