Position Summary The Quality Assurance Coordinator Registered Nurse (QA RN) is responsible for leading, coordinating, and supporting the organization’s Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) program. This role ensures compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including CMS and Department of Health requirements, while promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. The QA Coordinator, RN serves as a clinical and regulatory expert, partnering with nursing leadership and interdisciplinary teams to monitor care processes, analyze outcomes, identify risks, and implement sustainable best practice improvements that enhance resident outcomes and maintain ongoing survey readiness. Essential Job Functions
Qualifications Education & Licensure: Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing. Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred. Experience Minimum of 3–5 years of nursing experience, preferably in a long-term care or skilled nursing environment. Demonstrated experience in quality assurance, regulatory compliance, or performance improvement. Strong working knowledge of CMS regulations, the survey process, and QAPI standards.
