We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance and Food Safety Supervisor to join our dynamic and innovative engineering team. This role is ideal for a dedicated professional with a passion for excellence, a thorough understanding of food safety, and a keen eye for detail. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of sanitation and quality control in our food manufacturing processes. This position requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop, implement, and maintain a robust Quality Assurance and Food Safety program to ensure compliance with all regulatory standards.
2. Conduct regular inspections and audits of manufacturing processes to identify potential risks and ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
3. Implement and oversee Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) plans to identify, control, and prevent potential food safety hazards.
4. Lead and manage the sanitation team to ensure the highest level of cleanliness and hygiene in all areas of the manufacturing facility.
5. Conduct training sessions for staff on food safety measures, quality control, and sanitation procedures.
6. Investigate any quality or food safety incidents, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
7. Collaborate with other departments to ensure food safety and quality standards are integrated into all aspects of the manufacturing process.
8. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes related to food safety and quality assurance.
9. Provide regular reports to management on the status of the Quality Assurance and Food Safety program.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in quality assurance, food safety, and sanitation in the food manufacturing industry.
3. Expert knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and other food safety regulations.
4. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information.
7. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
8. Certification in Food Safety, Quality Assurance, or a related field is a plus.
9. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
10. Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of food safety and quality assurance.
