Codeworks, an LRS company, is seeking a QA Analyst for a contract role. This postion is to help deliver reliable, scalable, and high-quality software solutions. This role partners closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and other stakeholders to define, execute, and continuously improve testing strategies across a portfolio of technology initiatives.

The ideal candidate combines hands-on testing experience with strong analytical skills and a commitment to quality throughout the software development lifecycle. This position supports both manual and automated testing efforts and contributes to continuous improvement of testing processes, tools, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities Summary

  • Develop and execute risk-based testing strategies to ensure software quality, reliability, and performance across multiple initiatives.
  • Create, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test data for functional, integration, regression, data validation, and performance testing.
  • Design, develop, and support automated testing solutions for web applications, APIs, and system integrations.
  • Review business requirements, technical designs, and acceptance criteria to identify risks, gaps, and testing needs early in the development process.
  • Identify, document, track, and validate defects through resolution while communicating impacts and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Analyze test results and quality metrics to monitor trends, assess risks, and support continuous improvement efforts.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and other stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business and technical requirements.
  • Coordinate test environments, test data preparation, and deployment activities with project and delivery teams.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and design reviews while advocating for quality best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with automated testing tools such as:
    • Playwright
    • Selenium
    • Thunder Client
    • SOAPUI
    • Dynatrace
    • Azure monitoring tools
    • Similar testing and monitoring technologies
  • Experience identifying and implementing test automation opportunities.
  • Familiarity with test management platforms such as:
    • Azure DevOps
    • Microsoft Test Manager
    • Quality Center
    • Comparable solutions
  • Experience validating large datasets and data integrations.
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale software delivery initiatives.
  • Experience working in Financial Services, Wealth Management, Brokerage, Advisory Services, or similar industries.
  • Support and expand test automation, quality standards, and QA processes across the organization.
  • Provide guidance and knowledge sharing on testing methodologies, tools, and quality assurance practices.
  • Help ensure software solutions are production-ready, scalable, secure, and aligned with business objectives

The base range for this contract position is $45.00 -$65.00 per hour, depending on experience. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all U.S. locations. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors.
