Responsibilities:- Test new Salesforce Financial Services Cloud development, including custom objects, Flows, Lightning components, OmniStudio Scripts and Flexcards, and configuration changes.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for enhancements, defects, and system changes.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing across multiple Salesforce environments.
- Validate complex business processes supporting financial services use cases.
- Support Salesforce release cycles, ensuring testing is completed and acceptance criteria are met prior to deployment.
- Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps and business impact.
- Partner with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and stakeholders during sprint planning, refinement, and UAT.
- Assist with User Acceptance Testing, including test coordination, issue triage, and validation of fixes.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of QA standards, regression suites, and testing documentation.
- Construct Functional Requirement Specifications, Release Notes and How-To Guides for software and report releases.
- Validate Salesforce functionality and data flows to ensure compliance with internal controls, regulatory requirements, and audit standards applicable to financial services.
- Execute testing focused on data accuracy, completeness, and consistency, particularly for client, household, and financial data.
- Verify role-based access, permission sets, and data visibility to ensure sensitive information is accessible only to appropriate users.
- Test and validate auditability of system changes, including field history tracking, approvals, and traceability of updates.
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure testing coverage supports risk mitigation and compliance readiness ahead of releases and migrations.
- Support testing efforts related to Salesforce migrations, ensuring data integrity and reconciliation between legacy and target systems.
- Construct SQL queries to support validation of defined testing strategies.
- Coordinate and perform required unit, system, and performance testing.
- Build and run automated test suites and interpret the results.
- Create and run regression tests.
- Provide customer support to business units for our library of web applications and reports.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities by identifying and analyzing the effectiveness and efficiency of existing processes and develop strategies for improvements.
- Mentor other team members.
- May perform additional functions depending on market demand and staffing in order to provide consistent quality customer service.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, MIS, BIS, or related field; additional, applicable years of experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum of seven (7) years of Quality Assurance experience involving business reporting and web applications.
- Minimum of three (3) years of Quality Assurance and hands-on experience testing Salesforce, ideally within Financial Services Cloud or similarly complex, regulated environments.
- Extensive experience with performing Functional testing, Smoke testing, Regression testing, Integration testing, Positive and Negative testing, System testing and End to End testing of Web Based Applications.
- Hands-on experience with Copado Essentials for Salesforce release management, including user story promotion, deployment validation, and environment strategy within Agile delivery models.
- Experience with Selenium, Cucumber, and BDD framework, & Playwright to perform automation testing.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman and Rest Assured to develop manual and automated end to end test suites for APIs.
- Experience with IntelliJ.
- Experience handling multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of users and teammates both written and verbally.
- Strong knowledge of T-SQL and experience working in SSMS.
- Experience with Git/GitHub and Maven to manage automation suite.
- Experience with AI tools and capabilities.
- Ability to analyze and interpret requirements and file layouts into test cases and automated scripts in accordance with approved test plans.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to perform unit, system, and performance testing.
- Ability to produce status reports and communicate status of projects on a regular basis.
- Ability to work with shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, Word, & Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail, interpersonal skills, and notation skills.
- Technical writing experience.
- Experience with Jira and TestFLO.
- Exposure to or hands-on experience with Copado Robotic Testing (CRT) or similar Salesforce automation tools (e.g., Provar), including maintaining and executing automated regression suites.
- Knowledge of Salesforce Financial Services Cloud data models, security considerations, and role-based access.
- Experience supporting large user bases (1,000+ users) or enterprise Salesforce orgs.
