TITLE: QA Analyst III

SHIFT: Monday – Friday, standard business hours

We are seeking a QA Analyst III to support the delivery of high-quality software solutions by developing and executing comprehensive testing strategies for application enhancements and system changes. This role partners closely with business stakeholders, developers, and project teams to validate that solutions meet both functional and non-functional requirements. The ideal candidate brings a strong quality mindset, excellent analytical skills, and extensive experience working within Agile software development environments.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and execute testing approaches, test plans, and test scenarios in accordance with established quality management standards and processes.
Produce accurate, thorough, and well-organized testing documentation and deliverables with a strong attention to detail.
Validate application enhancements and system modifications against documented business requirements and user stories to ensure solutions meet both functional and non-functional expectations.
Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and business subject matter experts to support the delivery of high-quality solutions.
Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of quality management practices, including defect tracking, integration testing, continuous integration activities, and test automation initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications

Seven or more years of experience in software quality assurance, software testing, or a related quality-focused role.
Strong understanding of quality assurance principles, methodologies, and testing best practices.
Experience developing comprehensive testing strategies, test plans, test cases, and related testing documentation.
Experience working within multiple software development methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall environments.
Demonstrated experience validating software solutions in partnership with business users, development teams, and project leadership.
Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, including functional, integration, black-box, white-box, and path-based testing techniques.
Hands-on experience working with databases and writing queries to support testing and data validation activities.
Experience using Jira or similar work management and issue tracking platforms.
Familiarity with Agile delivery frameworks, including Scrum.
Positive, proactive, and solution-oriented approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
Experience participating in usability testing and user-focused solution validation.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with large, cross-functional teams supporting multiple business stakeholders.
Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working within service-oriented architecture (SOA) or web services environments.
Experience with automated testing tools, with Tricentis Tosca preferred.
Familiarity with test-driven development (TDD) and behavior-driven development (BDD) practices.
Experience utilizing defect management and test management tools, including XRAY for Jira.
