Coordinates the overall functions of the Quality and Technical Service Department while supporting upper management and associated team members by overseeing administrative tasks and company compliance initiatives as assigned.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1.) Ensure compliance with all Safety, Environmental, Quality, and, where applicable, ResponsibleSteel requirements. 2.) Coordinate and maintain departmental documentation, status reports, project timelines, and action items in alignment with the BRS Quality Management System.

3.) Support departmental and site training programs by coordinating training records, reporting, and follow-up activities to ensure compliance with established procedures.

4.) Coordinate team meetings, training sessions, customer visits, travel arrangements, and department calendars, as assigned.

5.) Maintain departmental distribution lists, records, reports, and administrative systems to support efficient and effective operations.

6.) Prepare and maintain reports, presentations, performance metrics, and budget-related information by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing data.

7.) Assist with communicating quality objectives, performance goals, and customer requirements throughout the organization as assigned.

8.) Foster effective working relationships across departments to support continuous improvement, problem resolution, and customer satisfaction.

9.) Complete required training, participate in professional development activities, and maintain assigned certifications. 10.) Provide backup support for Technical Service and Quality functions as assigned.

11.) Perform all responsibilities in accordance with company policies, legal and regulatory requirements, ethical standards, and contractual obligations.

Qualifications:

1) Bachelor''s degree in technical discipline or a minimum of five years of relevant professional experience.

2) Demonstrated knowledge of quality management systems, customer requirements, and continuous improvement principles and methodologies.

3) Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with customers, suppliers, management, and cross-functional teams.

4) Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with a proven capacity to manage multiple priorities and meet established deadlines.

5) Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and make effective decisions with minimal supervision.

6) Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other business reporting and data management tools.

7) Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization, both internally and externally, while maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

This position requires the ability to work in an office setting with tasks in the mill, which could typically involve extreme environments from hot to cold. This position can require long hours, weekend, and holiday coverage to support routine responsibilities, and travel.
