Subsidiary Steel Dynamics Overview
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to assist in establishing our QA initiatives and team members. This position will help build out our QA processes with a particular focus on implementing automated testing. This is a unique opportunity to shape quality assurance and the testing processes of our team.
Responsibilities
Implement QA processes, standards, and best practices from the ground up
Design and build-out the testing infrastructure and framework
Create comprehensive testing strategies aligned with business objectives
Implement automated test suites and continuous integration pipelines
Create documentation for QA processes and procedures
Collaborate with development teams to integrate quality practices into the development lifecycle
Evaluate and recommend QA tools and technologies
Qualifications
Required
Bachelors degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
5+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing
Proven experience with Playwright testing suite
Experience building testing frameworks and infrastructure from scratch
Proficiency in at least one programming language (C#, .NET, or Python preferred)
On-site 5 days a week in Fort Wayne, IN
Preferred
Proficiency in Ascential Test
Experience with version control systems (Git)
Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and implementation
Expertise in testing methodologies (TDD, BDD)
Experience with bug tracking and test management tools
API testing experience
Performance testing knowledge and experience
