The Quality Assurance Analyst supports manufacturing by crafting and maintaining production formulas in the SAP ERP environment. The person works with plant Quality and Production as well as R&D staff to optimize production formulas to suit individual plant needs.
This role will report directly to the Senior Quality Manager
Key Responsibilities:
Convert R&D laboratory formulas to large-scale manufacturing versions individualized by plant.
Support Strategic purchasing initiatives through formula maintenance
Analyze and Interpret laboratory and manufacturing data
Critically observe paint manufacturing to drive process improvements
Maintain up-to-date documentation of manufacturing vessels and equipment for US/CA plants
Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering or a related area is preferred. A degree in a natural science (biology, physics, other) is acceptable with appropriate experience.
5 year's of paint industry experience is desired, experience with architectural paint and stain products is preferred.
Must be proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Travel to all plants required, desire to have a Passport or acquire one.
