    Description

With deep roots in Western Massachusetts and a growing presence across the Commonwealth, we are seeking a Quality Assistant to join our Corporate Quality Assurance team in Worcester. This role supports compliance monitoring, data management, performance measurement, accreditation readiness, and continuous quality improvement across BHN programs.

    What You Will Do:

    • Collect, validate, and maintain program-level quality and performance data across multiple BHN programs.
    • Generate routine quality, compliance, audit, and performance reports for program and leadership review.
    • Assist with developing and maintaining dashboards, scorecards, charts, and other data visualizations.
    • Review documentation using standardized audit tools, checklists, and established quality indicators.
    • Support internal compliance reviews and preparation for external reviews involving CARF, MassHealth, DPH, CMS, managed care entities, and other regulatory or accreditation bodies.
    • Compile audit evidence, supporting documentation, and follow-up materials for quality reviews and leadership reporting.
    • Track corrective-action plans, assigned follow-up items, timelines, and implementation status with Quality Supervisors and program leadership.
    • Identify data discrepancies, documentation gaps, and emerging trends and communicate findings to the appropriate team members.
    • Assist with data collection for grants, contracts, accreditation, regulatory reporting, and organizational initiatives.
    • Support quality-improvement initiatives using established methods, including PDSA cycles and action planning.
    • Participate in committees, workgroups, project meetings, and department meetings; document minutes and track action items.
    • Help develop, organize, and maintain policies, procedures, workflows, standard operating procedures, training materials, and job aids.
    • Support satisfaction surveys, outcome measurements, performance-measurement plans, and special quality projects.
    • Maintain organized departmental databases, electronic records, and quality documentation while protecting confidential agency, employee, and client information.

    Who You Are:

    • High School Diploma or GED required; an Associate’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business Administration, Human Services, Quality Management, or a related field is preferred.
    • At least one year of experience in healthcare, quality assurance, compliance, administrative support, data management, or a related field preferred.
    • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Smartsheet, electronic health records, or healthcare reporting systems preferred.
    • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage responsibilities across multiple programs.
    • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, maintain accuracy, and communicate findings clearly.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work professionally with program staff, leadership, and other stakeholders.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, respond to changing needs, and refocus after interruptions.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality, work independently and collaboratively, and develop proficiency with additional software and reporting systems.
    • Ability to work on-site in Worcester.

    Pay Range: $21.50-$25.27
