Quality & Food Safety Manager | Food Manufacturing

We are hiring an experienced FSQA Manager to lead food safety and quality operations at a large food manufacturing facility in Lincoln, NE. This is a senior leadership role managing a team of supervisors and quality technicians in a demanding, audit-intensive environment with real growth opportunity.

What You'll Own:

  • Full ownership of SQF and quality programs across the facility
  • Leading all site audits - SQF, USDA, FDA, state, and customer audits
  • Managing and developing 2 FSQA Supervisors and approximately 9-10 QA technicians
  • HACCP and HARPC program management
  • Root cause analysis, CAPA, and corrective action programs
  • Environmental monitoring and micro sampling programs
  • Sanitation oversight including master cleaning schedule and sanitation reporting
  • Cross-functional collaboration with production, engineering, warehouse, and sanitation
  • Customer complaint investigation and resolution
  • Food safety training across the plant

What We're Looking For:

  • 5+ years of FSQA management experience in a food manufacturing environment
  • Proven experience managing supervisors and developing team performance
  • Led minimum 2 SQF or GFSI scheme audits - must have been the lead, not support
  • HACCP or PCQI certification required
  • USDA and/or FDA facility experience strongly preferred
  • Strong background in food safety systems, risk assessment, root cause, and CAPA
  • Environmental monitoring and sampling experience preferred
  • Confident communicator who can influence operations and drive a food safety agenda
  • Willing to support nights and weekends as plant needs require
  • Approximately 10% travel to other company locations
