Description

1. Lead the development, maintenance, and enhancement of data models, dashboards, and reports to monitor key performance indicators related to assessment quality and outcomes. Oversee and lead the application of advanced statistical analyses to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
2. Collaborate with the Clinical Excellence Team to identify and implement data-driven quality improvement initiatives. Evaluate the impact of these initiatives through rigorous data analysis and provide actionable insights.
3. Work closely with the BI Manager, Operational Leadership and Clinical Leadership to align data analytics with strategic objectives. Provide regular updates and detailed reports to senior management and key stakeholders.
4. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across all platforms. Develop and enforce data governance policies and procedures.
5. Collate and model data sets ensuring there is a single source of truth for Quality Analytics.
6. Direct the work of Data Scientists and support the Lead Data Scientist in the management of Data Scientists work, ensuring a high level of delivery in data analytics.
7. Ensure sound systems and ways-of-working, and that all data analytics practices comply with relevant regulations and standards. Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in data analytics and healthcare quality improvement.

Essential

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Proven experience in data analysis, preferably within healthcare or a related field.

• Strong proficiency in data analysis tools.

• Experience with data visualisation tools.

• Experience of building statistical models.

• Experience of using Excel for statistics and data science.

• Strong stakeholder engagement and management skills.

• Proven experience of understanding business operations and services and providing analytical solutions to support decision making.

• Line management experience.

• Working in cross functional teams.

Desirable

• Master's degree in a relevant field.

• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and quality standards.

• Knowledge and experience of benefit assessments.
