Description:You will be the Quality Engineer Senior for Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control (MFC) in Grand Prairie, Texas. Our team is responsible for ensuring the quality of manufactured, repaired, and procured products meet or exceed design and process requirements.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Quality Engineer Senior, this role will serve as the central Quality Inspection interface across Product Leads, PP&C, Operations, and program teams. It will require the individual to independently integrate competing priorities, communicate status and risks, and drive cross-functional alignment without direct authority.

This broad organizational scope, level of independent judgement and informal leadership required to influence multiple functions and support effective operational execution justify classification as a Quality Analyst Senior.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing documentation related to internal and external manufacturing processes
  • Analyzing quality data on yields, rework, scrap, and non-conformance aging
  • Interfacing with quality inspection, quality engineers, and Production Operations
  • Evaluating design assurance activities and production process methodology
  • Interfacing with customers, suppliers, and program personnel on quality-related issues
  • Utilizing lean initiatives to reduce waste and maintain continuous improvement

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.

Basic Qualifications:

Ability to work a flexible schedule.

Bachelors degree or higher or combined education/equivalent years of related experience.

Prior experience reviewing quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for the inspection of manufactured and procured products.

Generally has 3+ years of related experience and may have a post-secondary degree or training in a related discipline.

Demonstrated presentation skills.

Effective interpersonal skills, including team building and collaboration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
