Summary:
If you are committed to ensuring people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (ID/DD) have the right to live, love, work and play in their communities, the Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) offers exciting opportunities to impact ongoing evolution of a state of the art service delivery system, enabling people across South Dakota to lead healthy, independent, productive lives. The primary role of this position will be to ensure the community based developmental disabilities system continues to progressively evolve with the changing needs of South Dakotans with ID/DD.
The Quality Administrator plans, develops, and implements the quality assurance and improvement programs for DDD. This position will establish quality standards and expected outcomes, oversee provider certification, monitoring of quality assurance activities, incident management, mortality review, and develop initiatives including providing technical assistance to providers, case managers, and family support coordinators to address issues in home and community-based services. The administrator will also lead and develop the manager of the health and wellness team within DDD to integrate quality management and clinical functions.
